I use technology in all aspects of my job. I frequently use PixWriter to allow my students success in reading. I also use Boardmaker to make vocabulary interventions that enable my students to use pictures and words.
Most important are the communication devices my students use to communicate when they are unable to speak. These devices "speak for them." I spend a lot of time programming age and curriculum appropriate vocabulary. These devices have a great component already programmed into them which allows my to analyze exactly which "buttons" my students use the most, or even if they use the device at all when I am not around.
