I've used flickr before to view some friends advertisement pictures, although I hadn't really "played around" with it.
This time I used it to show my son some pictures of where we will be traveling in Australia in June. It really helped him remember some places we had already been as well as find places he would like to visit this time.

What a great use for Flikr. So far, I have just played around, but with no real purpose. Just like with my students, I need to be shown a real life reason to learn a new skill!
